Please be aware that upon completion of your intro class we have set aside a limited amount of spaces for new people in our programme but due to demand we cannot promise your preferred day.
However, as you have completed an intro class we promise we will be able to fit you into our programme.
We run camps throughout the year and welcome all levels of player.
Groups are split by age and level to give your child every chance to make new friends and enjoy learning together. To enquire about our camps head over to our get in touch page, we'd love to hear from you.
Tennis Camps
We will cancel class by email if the weather is dangerous or the courts are flooded.If we cancel we will do so 30-45 minutes before the session and if you have not heard from us, the class will continue as normal.If we cancel a class we will offer an alternative option in line with the academy schedule.

Your coaching subscription includes a number of services you can book to get bonus court time to practice. Adult Coaching includes court booking, social tennis, player connect and team tennis. Junior Coaching includes court booking, social tennis, team tennis and family social. These services give you bonus court time to practice what you have learnt.

Yes you can book through our app under the “Non‑Member” section to access online court booking. The cost is €15 per court per hour. You must include the names of the players joining you and all players must complete the health waiver before playing.To fill out the health waiver: click here

There is a water fountain, bathrooms and waiting area on site. Players can sit on chairs inside the building or beside the courts when waiting for a class to begin. There are toilets located just inside the door and to the left. The water fountain is located further along the hallway. To find the water fountain walk in through the doors, straight along the hallway and turn left, the fountain can be found at the end of this hallway. If you are having trouble finding a facility, a member of staff will be happy to assist you as soon as they are available.

When filling in the Invite form, please add as much availability as possible to allow you to find a time that suits both players.As a courtesy to other players please consider carefully before declining — if there is an issue with availability suggest some alternatives.If after a few messages you still can't find a time to play you can later withdraw in the My Challenges section of the website.Please keep in mind that although you will only be able to see players of a similar level, some matches and social play may be more enjoyable than others.

A member of the team will be onsite for the duration of your group coaching class. There is an office downstairs which can be found just inside the door and to the right. There is also an office upstairs, when walking inside the doors and along the hallway, there is a door to the right with a stairway. Up these stairs and through the door you will find the upstairs office.

The Warmup:For Group Coaching, the warmup is the same as your intro class: The warmup starts as a physical warmup without a tennis racket, once this is completed a player can start to warmup with their tennis racket.Junior Physical Warmup: consists of jogging, high knees, heel flicks, side steps, lunges & rolling arms. The junior warmup is done from the baseline to the net and back.Once this is completed Juniors can grab their racket & a ball of their choosing. They can then rally with themselves, against the fence or with a partner.Adult Physical Warmup: consists of throwing 1/2 balls to a partner as you sidestep from the baseline to the net and back. There are 3 different exercises which should each be done twice.Once this is completed Adults can grab their racket & a ball of their choosing. They can then start rallying in the boxes with a partner, this can then progress to vollying at the net, then to playing from the baseline if the player is comfortable.

In the Challenge Players tab you will see the list of players you can connect with. Once you have found a player you would like to connect with, hit the Connect button.Fill in the Challenge form — please leave your phone number or another form of contact in the availability box to allow both of you to communicate and coordinate a time to play.Once the player has accepted or declined your invitation you will receive an email stating their response.The list of players you have connected with can be seen in the My Challenges tab. Currently replies to your invites can only be seen in the response email you will have received.

We typically take a break from coaching for Bank Holidays, school mid-term and Christmas Holidays. As a result your class end date can differ from what is stated in your account.

Once a player tries to connect you will receive an email stating who is trying to connect, the type of invite and the message including their availability.Accept or Decline their invite through the website.If you accept their invitation you have a chance to state your availability and enter your phone number to allow for further communication.Finalise a time to play on WhatsApp or through another messaging platform.Book a court and you are set to play.

Team Tennis is a chance for players to represent the group they train in by taking part in social and competitive play against players participating in other groups. It's a chance to represent your team in friendly doubles and singles matches. It allows players to put what they have learned into practice in a fun, friendly environment an excellent way to experience friendly competition, build confidence, and understand what areas of play to improve.

Joining LC Tennis Academy provides access to professional coaching, a welcoming community, and opportunities for social and competitive play.
Your starting position is based on your scores in Team Tennis, alongside our understanding of your feedback in coaching.

Friendly matches and drills that are appropriate to your child's level and age. We see this as a step towards encouraging your child to play outside of their class and enjoy putting into practice all they have learnt.
If you miss a session due to illness or injury, we are not in a position to reschedule.
There’s no specific level needed. After completing classes with us your child has reached the necessary level to take part and we look forward to welcoming them.Team Tennis is split into age groups which align with the group coaching classes. Team Tennis is designed so players of all abilities can take part, and sessions are organised to keep matches close and enjoyable.
We are unable to change your day and time of coaching post purchase.
Players training together at a specific day and time are part of a team, we therefore are unable to change your day and time of coaching post purchase.
If your child is part of our academy they can register. After taking part in classes with us there is no age restriction. Your child will be asked to take part in age-appropriate play based on their level and age.
We are not in a position to offer a refund post purchase.
Your child will be asked to take part in play familiar to them from their coaching classes. They will therefore have the necessary skills to get the most from the event and not feel overwhelmed on the day.
For Juniors we require signed consent in the event your child is to leave class unaccompanied or is collected by a person other than a parent or legal guardian.
Pop In & Play gives adults and juniors the chance to connect with players recommended by the coaching team. For a full list of the upcoming Pop In & Play sessions click here.
